Ricki
Ricki was found by our back door on a Friday morning. Frightened and unsure of what was going on, she was taken into the home of a volunteer. After a few months, she was brought back to the shelter to live with the rest of her Cat Guardians family.
After taking Ricki to specialty vet, she was diagnosed with lameness in her front left paw, possibly an old soft tissue or ligament injury. There are no current medical concerns except for possible arthritis when she gets older – however this is common in most cats. Most of the time when she’s running and scaling the cat tree, we don’t think she even notices that she is different from any of the other cats.
