The Cat Guardians New Hope Art Auction is fast approaching. Talented local artists, including a number of works from members of the Naperville Art League, have donated items for this year’s auction. All proceeds will go toward helping kitties at Cat Guardians No Kill Cat Shelter. Thank you for your continued support!
This year we will again be using an online platform for bidding. This allows people to place their bids from the gallery, from home, from vacation … wherever you are when our auction is going on! More information on that below!
Please join us at the Naperville Fine Arts Center gallery on Saturday January 6th for our Open House and hospitality from 11AM – 3:00PM. Bidding ends at @ 2:00PM. Please plan on joining us as artwork is best appreciated in person, as is the company of our many talented and generous supporters. We look forward to seeing you in January!
Auction details:
- We are uploading artwork to the auction site now. You can preview items at Art Auction Preview
- All bidding will be on-line at 32 Auctions. On-line bidding opens Jan 2rd at 5 pm and closes on Jan 6th at 2 pm.
- You can also view artwork in person at the Naperville Fine Art Center and Gallery, 508 North Center Street, Naperville IL from 10 am to 5 pm.
- Be sure to bring your smartphone to the Open House! We will post a QR code with each piece of art. You can use your phone to bid on art until the bidding closes at 2 pm.
- We will announce the winners at the Gallery immediately after the bidding closes. Winners who are not present will be contacted by e-mail.
Information about bidding, payment and picking up your artwork (if you are the winning bidder):
- You will need to create an account at 32auctions.com to access the Cat Guardians auction site.
- Bidders do not need to submit credit card/paypal info to bid, and they are not automatically charged if they win the bid. Instead, once the auction is complete, “invoices” will be created for the winning bidders.
- Winning bidders can pay in cash on January 6th in the gallery, or we will email the invoice to them with a link for them to pay online through the Cat Guardians’ PayPal account (you can use a credit card on PayPal even if you do not have your own PayPal account).
- Art can be collected at the gallery on January 6th. If you live in the Chicago area, we can arrange to deliver your artwork. If you live outside the Chicago area, then you will need to arrange shipping with us and pay any shipping costs.
