Tennessee
Tennessee went home with her new family on ~Aug 15, 2024
Meet Tennessee. One of the Elite Eight, history-making kittens at Cat Guardians.
Why is Tennessee history-making? Well, because she is a part of only the 2nd litter in Cat Guardians history where a litter of 8 kittens were born and all 8 survived. Hence the group name, The Elite Eight.
(Also, if you’re not a basketball fan, the Elite 8 is when the final 8 teams make it in the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. This group is named after the Men’s 2024 NCAA tournament).
Tennessee is for, well, The University of Tennessee.
Tennessee is a touch timid yet thoughtful. But being timid isn’t a bad thing! She’s just as sweet as her siblings but it takes her a little while longer to warm up to you. She likes naps on your legs and cuddles close by.
She doesn’t love to be held for long, but her gorgeous light green eyes and her full face will melt your heart. Although thoughtful about her next move, Tennessee loves to play just like any other kitten. She would do best with one of her siblings, in a calm home environment with adults and teenagers as the youngest kids in the house. Although she hasn’t met any dogs, she probably would prefer a dog-free home.
Looking for a kitten that isn’t wildly rambunctious? Then laid-back Tennessee is your gal.
As with all kittens, they are better adopted in pairs to avoid Single Kitten Syndrome. They will also take some time to adjust to their new home with you, but with patience and love you’ll get the sweet Tennessee girl that she is!
Lucky for Tennessee, her mom Olivia Benson, was brought into Cat Guardians very pregnant after being found outside. Olivia and her 8 kittens have only known a warm, loving (aka spoiled), and safe home since. Olivia and all her kittens are currently available for adoption with Cat Guardians!
