Henry (1991-2008)

Henry, Cat Guardians’ mascot and greeter, succumbed to cancer September 7, 2008 in the arms of Bev, one of our volunteers. He’s the one on the right, with the white goatee.

He was 17 years old, so he had a long life for a cat. When someone walked in the door, he would jump up and say “hi”. He was friendly with the kittens, and even held his own against all of Cyrano’s 20lbs. And, most importantly to me, he was a good friend to Shine. They spent their final days watching birds out the office window.
