Plumpernickel
Is that a teddy bear? No, it’s a Plumpernickel. If you are looking for a gentle soul, come meet this sweet, big boy. Plumpernickel likes to play, take naps and make you smile when he rolls over for a belly rub.
Plumpernickel requires subcutaneous (under the skin) fluids twice a week, to manage early stage kidney failure. He is responding very well to his treatment, as you can see when you visit this beautiful boy at the shelter.

2022-01-31: Plumpernickel passed away this last week. He was in the last stages of kidney failure and was in the loving home of a CG volunteer. Condolences to his kitty mommy and to everyone who loved and cared for Mr. P.
He was a wonderful boy and deserved the love and care he got from everyone.
He will be missed but is now is beyond the reach of illness.
