Connie

Connie went home with her new family on ~Aug 15, 2024

Meet Connie. One of the Elite Eight, history-making kittens at Cat Guardians.

Why is Connie history-making? Well, because she is a part of only the 2nd litter in Cat Guardians history where a litter of 8 kittens were born and all 8 survived. Hence the group name, The Elite Eight.

(Also, if you’re not a basketball fan, the Elite 8 is when the final 8 teams make it in the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. This group is named after the Men’s 2024 NCAA tournament).

Connie is for the University of Connecticut aka UConn.

Connie’s confident. Cheeky. Chatty. And cuddly. And when we say cuddly do we mean it! Connie will sit on your lap, laptop, chest, shoulders (literally – and we have the video to prove it), legs, feet…just about anywhere where she can be as close to you as possible.

Connie will need a patient owner who will love the cuddly and chatty side of her because she can be a bit needy (which don’t get us wrong some of us love)! Work from home with an open lap (and laptop) and ready for a kitten? Connie is your girl! She’s also cheeky — she likes to pounce, prey, and prowl at your toes but she’s only playing and just wants to have fun.

Connie is also extremely curious. She will get herself into anything including cabinets, desk drawers, the freezer, dryer, and dishwasher — so you have to be extra careful with her at home. (Always triple check the dryer and dishwasher before you run it!) She’s also not afraid to see what’s outside so you’ll have to be extra careful to secure windows, screens, and doors when she’s around so she doesn’t get lost.

Looking for a cuddly, confident, chatty cat? Connie’s it.

Contact Cat Guardians if you’re interested in meeting or adopting Connie!

As with all kittens, they are better adopted in pairs to avoid Single Kitten Syndrome. They will also take some time to adjust to their new home with you, but with patience and love you’ll get the sweet Connie girl that she is!

Lucky for Connie, her mom Olivia Benson, was brought into Cat Guardians very pregnant after being found outside. Olivia and her 8 kittens have only known a warm, loving (aka spoiled), and safe home since. Olivia and all her kittens are currently available for adoption with Cat Guardians!
