It is with a very heavy heart that we report the sudden loss of shelter Patriarch Scooge on Sept 17, 2022 …?? Having been a mainstay at the shelter for 14 years means that he will be deeply missed by everyone, volunteers & felines alike… Now he can be the Patriarch to all of the Cat Guardians kitties who have passed over The Rainbow Bridge…??

Scooge was loved by all of our volunteers. Unfortunately, he had some behavioral issues which made him unsuitable for adoption. This meant that the Cat Guardians shelter was his permanent home.
