‘2022 Livey
The key word to Cat Guardians success stories is dedication.
I immediately clicked with my Bella Luna at Cat Guardians, an adult cat that needed a home. She brought such joy to my life for the next 8 years. Upon her passing, I wasn’t ready to take in another cat but wanted to help one in a small way. I sponsored a cat in need, Oreo, who stole my heart. I would stop by to drop off food occasionally for Oreo and had the pleasure of meeting Maureen, a 15 year dedicated volunteer. Maureen introduced me to a cat named LIvey, another adult, six years old, who was brought to the shelter in need of a new home because her owner entered memory care and could no longer take care of her. I had LIvey on a trial basis for two weeks and I then adopted her. LIvey is being spoiled and enjoying her new life and my house is now once again a home. All of Cat Guardians volunteers are what make Cat Guardians a success one cat at a time.
Sincerely,
Lonni and LIvey Gioia
